AprendeTO started with a simple observation: billions of people around the world now hold a phone in their hand, but no education solution that actually fits their lives. Not academic theory. Not courses that assume you already have the time, money, and literacy to begin. We believe access to mobile internet can and should mean access to real, life- changing skills — no matter where someone lives or how many years they spent in school.
AprendeTO is a powerful project designed to fix this: starting with one country, with the goal of proving that behavior change at scale is possible exactly where it’s needed most.
We see a world where education no longer depends on a school, a teacher, or a textbook — but is built into the everyday content people already consume. Long-term: a behavioral learning infrastructure for the next billion users, starting in the Dominican Republic and expanding across Latin America and Africa.

EDUCATION
CAN CHANGE
WHAT NOTHING
ELSE CAN!
Mission
We are committed to to make practical education accessible to people whom the traditional education system has not equipped with sufficient knowledge, skills, or opportunities.
We are building a mobile learning environment in which individuals can learn in a simple, concise, and practical way — through short videos, repetition, everyday examples, and immediately applicable knowledge.
AprendeTO helps people improve their quality of life, personal safety, work skills, health habits, social responsibility, and their ability to make better everyday decisions.
Vision
AprendeTO’s vision is to become a new educational infrastructure for people whom existing education systems and conventional EdTech solutions do not reach.
We envision a world in which the mobile phone is not merely a device for entertainment, but a practical school in one’s pocket — accessible anywhere, at any time, and understandable even to individuals with low levels of education, literacy, or digital skills.
Our long-term vision is to create a scalable learning model that begins in the Dominican Republic and can subsequently be adapted for Latin America, Africa, and other communities worldwide where practical education is critically needed.

We do not teach theory. We change behavior.
Goal
Our goal is simple but ambitious: prove that millions of people who have never had access to quality education can be taught practical, life-changing skills — using only what’s already in their hands. If it works here, in the Dominican Republic, it means it can work for hundreds of millions of people across Latin America and Africa facing the exact same situation.
AprendeTO will transform short mobile video attention into real knowledge, skills, and lasting behavioral change. The platform helps users learn essential knowledge and skills for daily life — health, hygiene, safety, work skills, financial basics, environmental responsibility, social behavior, and digital skills — in a simple, visual, and easily understandable format.
The objective is not only to convey information. The objective is to ensure that individuals understand, repeat, apply, and change their real-life behavior, thereby improving quality of life for themselves and others — quickly and effectively. AprendeTO inspires the improvement of quality of life for oneself and others — quickly and tangibly.
NetForm. Learning model where education is embedded into daily content.
Our team
I have gathered exactly the right people for this task, because it is extremely important — we have to fix the world. Ordinary people cannot do that, which is why everyone on my team is extraordinary. We bring experience from the Dominican Republic as well as experience working with students of different ages in schools where bullying and mobbing are part of everyday life. We have the knowledge and experience to reach those who don’t see value in education — how to engage them, draw them in, and inspire them.

INcA
Velga Ina Čaikovska
Founder/Psychologist/World Future Designer
Tell her something can't be done, and she'll do it twice — and make it look easy. She grew up on the street and skipped school, because back then the value of education meant nothing to her. Then it clicked — and the girl who'd rather play football with the boys than sit in a classroom became one of education's most stubborn believers, with more than ten diplomas of every caliber in her bag. That's the conviction that drives everything she builds: education is the only medicine that can cure any problem. But the medicine has to fit the patient.
In 2022 she arrived in the Dominican Republic with nothing but a backpack — a laptop, external drives, and Rudy, her 16-year-old dog, because true people never leave their friends. She researched by living everyday life in 15 places across the country, among people from the middle class to the simplest, most ordinary Dominicans — because that is the only way to understand how a nation thinks and what its reality actually is. 2 degrees in Psychology and 22+ years in marketing taught her to understand people, not just watch them from the outside. And she moves in only one direction: forward — by 4x4, by Harley, by surf, by horse.

Māra Torres
Process Coordinator in the Dominican Republic
Latvian by birth, Dominican by heart, and forever loyal to both. A woman, a mother, a wife, a friend; a problem solver and negotiator with X-ray vision and perfect pitch, fluent not just in Spanish but in Dominican Spanish — which, as anyone who's tried will tell you, is a language of its own. Married for 23 years to a true Dominican, José, and mother of two (ages 12 and 22). A professional trainer who corrects aggressive dog behavior in Texas, and an everyday rally driver — the exact set of skills a content creator needs to survive Dominican traffic in one piece.
Artūrs Bernovskis
Co-founder/Researcher/Gamification expert
Where others guess by instinct, he measures with data. A lecturer at Riga Technical University and an entrepreneur, his research answers the question every leader asks but few ever solve: how do you get a person to do their work with passion rather than obligation? His scientific work — published by IEEE and at international conferences — proves that gamification isn't a trick but a mechanism: it raises motivation, improves knowledge retention, and, above all, people's well-being while they work. He knows how to translate the logic of play into real behavior change — and that is exactly what separates a platform people stay on from one they abandon. A man who believes work doesn't have to be a burden, and who has the research to prove it.

Emanuel Garsia Cabrera
Team leader
A charismatic, magnetic leader — the kind even strangers stop to listen to. Every meeting with him is part celebration, part adventure, because he knows a simple truth: real success comes from sharing your optimism and lifting others with you toward something bigger than any one person could achieve alone. He understands, deep down, the true value of education — and he backs every person bold enough to challenge themselves and pursue something far greater.

Viesturs Dūle (Zuarguss)
Co-founder/Learning-methods innovator/A man with several lives in one
He started as a master of comedy show, a television host, producer and film director — and learned what most educators never do: how to hold a person's attention so completely that they don't want to look away. Now he has turned that skill into a mission. With "Learnfit" he walks into schools where relationships between children have frayed to the breaking point, and rewrites the atmosphere from scratch — not through lectures, but through movement, joy and a deep understanding of how the brain actually learns. A lecturer to more than 40,000 people from around the world. A man who knows that education begins not with information, but with whether you have the will to listen to it — and how to create that will in the first place.

DR LEGAL PROS
Legal partner in the Dominican Republic - a full service, multilingual law firm serving foreign investors, expats and Dominican residents. The most professional and most tenacious law firm on the North Coast of the Dominican Republic — the kind that stands or falls with its clients, never beside them. Their record speaks before they do. And it says something about a firm's nerve when its founder swims with sharks for pleasure — because the sharks respect her before she even enters the water.
